UNCOVERING THE 2025
MUSIC SINGAPORE INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION
The Music Singapore International Competition is an annual event for young musicians from as young as four. It offers a global platform for showcasing talent and creativity.
Now in its fifth year, the Music Singapore International Competition has evolved, offering both virtual and physical competition. For the physical competition, the competition accepts two formats: video submissions and in-person entries.
The 2024 edition marked the exciting addition of ensemble and choir categories, further expanding the competition’s diversity. Looking ahead to 2025, we are thrilled to introduce new categories - cello and flute, continuing our commitment to broadening the range of musical talents we celebrate.
Beyond a traditional competition, we aim to build a global community that enriches the music learning journey and fosters connections across borders. Supported by local and international partners, Music Singapore is dedicated to discovering and promoting talent across diverse genres, making this year’s competition more inclusive and rewarding.
Competition Format
There will be two competition formats: Virtual and Physical. These two formats are independent.
The virtual format will be opened to candidates from all around the world and submission of repertoires is entirely online. Candidates who participate in the virtual format are not required to compete in the physical format.
The physical format includes two rounds: an audition (first round) and a final round held in Singapore. The audition round is conducted physically at our Co-Organiser's locations around the world, or you can opt for Video Entry.
